Just one set of key from dealer?

How many set of key you got for the tractor?

My car came with two keys. My JD riding mower came with 2 keys. Even when you buy locks it come with two keys

I only got one set of key from dealer yesterday and I am wondering if that is the case for 1025R tractor.

I was trying to get anther set of key but Home Depot told me to talk to dealer.

If all other out there got two keys, I will go back to ask the salesman for it.

    Thanks

Two here, call your dealer and get one...they are all they same so he probably has a box full of them.

I received 2 keys for my 1026R too. One with an orangy/red plastic "cushioned" handle and the other was all metal.

    Just my 2 cents.

With every Deere purchased, two keys. My 1026R came with red and black keys. I use the red because it stands out a little more than the black does. Your dealer probably just forgot and will be glad to supply one . . . .

Yeah I just got one as well...although I was annoyed I spent the $1.50 for a second when I was buying oil and filters and skipped buying coffee that day.

Of the things the dealer did that annoyed me this was the least expensive....

I only got one key when I got my tractor. Of course carrying some stuff to the garage I lost the key (I was using my tractor right until dark with the lights on), and had to hunt all over for it with a flashlight at night.

My dealer came out the next day to go over the tractor, and forgot to bring some spare keys. When I get a chance and have to pick up something from the dealership, I'll get my keys then.

I bought a new keyring so it won't be so hard to lose. John Deere Key Ring | eBay

    Brians2032R,

That's it. I don't think I got owners manual too. LOL, I am so glad I asked this questions then.

Not only find out dealer forget to give me the 2nd key, they also forget the owners manual where the key should be.

    Thanks
