This morning, after 7.5" of rain the tank is now a floating boat. Not sure who is footing the bill on this redo, but it won't be cheap. The guy I talked to said that the tank would have to be recertified before it can go back into the ground.

The water in the hole is being pumped into frac tanks and has to be tested before it can be discharged.

Archimedes would say that it had to float on principle alone.

Seriously... 4,000 pounds of anchor equals about the weight of a full size car or smaller pickup / SUV. A couple of air bags with MUCH less capacity could be used to lift a car that has sunk in water. So, it isn't at all surprising that a 12,000 gallon container was able to break free of its moorings.

you hit the nail right on. This will have to be settled in court I'm sure as no one is going to accept responsibility for the incident. \Its an act of God!

The lawyers are going to make a lot of money before someone's insurance company pays up!

I think they were amtís. Itís a simple drivetrain like a snowmobile and uses tire bounce for the primary rear suspension. If you want a yard mule and donít have major hills or bumpy trails it should serve you.

They are smoking crack on pricing. Iíd ignore the add and be annoyed by the response as a seller but offer 150. Itís not worth $500 as it sits unless itís actually just parked in the weeds for pictures then maybe 750. Actually on better thought just say youíre interested just not at the advertised price.

I'm not interested in it (at any price), just thought it unusual since I'd never seen one before. I'm long past the rebuilding basket cases stage, finally got it out of my system. I think old age had something to do with it.
