You have the patience of Job, bfloyd! You're obviously a good man that made a tough decision. You showed tremendous compassion for someone that was blatantly screwing you. I don't know if I could have done that or not.

"Tenant Law" is an interesting topic. I sure that TwoLaneCruiser is well versed in it and can throw in his $.02. I know in some states that hotels will limit your stays to 29 days because once you hit 30 days, you're a tenant and then they have to go through the eviction process to throw you out.

I know in ca. according to the two attorneys I talked to, if they are in your house and won't leave the law says you have to do the formal eviction process to be legal. Its crazy, but its the law...Oh, almost forgot there is no days needed they can just walk in and stay and you are stuck. Police wont do anything unless they attack you. If you do anything wrong the courts can award the sqautter $5,000 per incident.

Maybe i do need a bigger wood chipper?

I read something like that a few years ago. Basically once you let them stay at your house. Even for one night you have to evict them. Not sure where they come up with these crazy laws.

From what I've heard, Colonfornia is one of the worst states to be a landlord, and one of the best to be a squatter.
I have more ideas than ambition.

Well the hippies started it. Now they’re offspring are running things. Obama and Clinton show, they just took advantage of it. Someone looked at a map of the US and chose far left
