    Glad your eyes are working

The best part of the exam is the eye doctor as she is pleasant and attractive.
LOL, if she's attractive it's good your eyes are working. She could be pleasant and if you couldn't see it wouldn't matter- you would still know she's pleasant.

I need to go get my eyes checked. Too much computer time at work isn't doing them any good.

    Happenstance

I was headed home from the farm today and met a tractor with a long line of cars behind it. As I went by, I noticed it appeared to have a drum mower on the back. Just as it went out of sight, it turned into a driveway so I turned around and went back to see if I could find it.

It was a Tar River Drum mower which is one of the models I've been looking at. The owner was happy to show it off and he doesn't know it but I think he sold a mower. . .

Nice to see one and even nicer for him to make a couple of passes so I could see it work.

I'm not a bit surprised, Lowell.

You will need a double deck trailer to haul all of your tractors to the shows.

With a name like Tar River Drum Mower, I figured it had to be somewhere close to where I grew up... and sure enough, those are made in the town I grew up in! I'm going to watch the videos on their web site now.

Me either. The Allis’s of that era were just plain dependable.

Congratulations. Soon tractors and equipment will seem cheap.
