It was hand restored by a gentleman here, he reused all the original wood in the frame and rebuilt the body that has been replaced once. After reading a few books the best I can find it that it appears Poste Buggy was bought by the Columbus Buggy Co sometime around 1909.

It came with three more buggy frames and an 80% completed one. Not bad considering all I went over there for was to buy a tractor, but thatís another story. Bought that too, for the record. This buggy is for sale, weíre planning to build the 80% one and possibly use it in the wedding. Should be an interesting project.
Although I know nothing about them I would love to learn to restore a buggy like this.

Went for a tractor, got sidetracked by a sheep wagon and came home with a buggy shop. Sounds about right.

    Had a Nice Fathers day!

Had dinner with my Wife and Daughter at the Casino and I won $126.00 tonight free and clear! Wife won $18.00 and my Daughter $15.00 so we all did good! I thought I had just won $10,000.00 but they call $100.00 10,000 on the slot machine? Still $100.00 on a pull is nice when your playing with $0.40 a shot!

    Autonomous Driving machine.....

I saw one of those self driving vehicles today and it made me laugh!

Driving toward Lancaster Co this morning I was stuck in a line of about 6 cars behind a tractor trailer going r e a l s l o w up a slight hill.

Coming toward us is an open buggy and I can see the driver real well....its a kid maybe 16 or so (hard to tell for sure everybody looks like a kid to me) and he is ASLEEP!! no doubt about it....mouth drooped open, eyes shut, head bobbing a little to one side. The horse just heading home probably!

    The EPA just loves me.
