    What's making you smile today?

Getting home last night and being told by my wife that the set of Advan Wheels RS II was delivered to our home, yesterday. It was an advanced Christmas gift that I bought for myself.

The best band of all time, at least in my opinion. They also have some great solo music between them. I saw them back in '97, great concert. They were in Buffalo this past year on March 26th, the day after my birthday. I hinted to Mrs. CP, but got nowhere. Now Billy Joel is coming to Buffalo and my oldest wants to go (which we are, Merry Christmas), so I brought up the Fleetwood Mac thing again just to rub it in. Mrs. CP claims I said I didn't want to go. What I said was I wasn't sure I wanted to go now that Lindsay Buckingham is no longer with the band. Oh well!

Iíll admit I had goosebumps during a couple of their old songs.

While we were watching I looked up the band on my iPad and learned some more about them. Quite amazing they were together for over 40 years with only a couple years break.

During the concert we were watching Lindsay did a couple different songs where he did some solo work - what a musician! And of course Stevie Nicks still sounded the same - as I said - goosebumps.

My bucket list is getting more and more narrow due to our disabilities. But still I want to see Carlos Santana. He plays almost constantly in Las Vegas at the House of Blues. I think I could handle a venue like that if I could just handle getting there....

This station I found while doing a trial of Philo has a station called AXS TV is all about music. Right now they have a special on about Lyndsay Buckingham with special guest Stevie Nicks.

There are a bunch of concerts on that channel this month like Foreigner, Santana, etc. I set them all to record on the included DVR.

Yesterday was a bad day for my arthritis; joints sore and painful. Had a nice meal of boiled cabbage and Polish sausage; this morning was much better. Had noticed this phenomenon before; did some research and lo and behold...cabbage is reputed to significantly ease the pain of arthritis! It's a good thing I like cabbage!
