    Crop circles explained

    It was college drone kids all along, mapping fields in 3D !!!

    Interesting.

    We used them to gather "intel" in the military.

    The author refers to them as UAV's. (unmanned aerial vehicles) At one point that is what we called them. Then the political correctness police showed up and said "unmanned" was to sexist of a term. Started calling them RPV's (remotely piloted vehicles) and the pilots union filled a grievance.

    I still think carpet bombing is the most effective method. You may or may not hit the particular thing you intended - but everyone left alive got your message ;)
