We are having a Bee - ectomy tonight. Removing a honey bee hive

Over the weekend I found a swarm or honey bee hive under my deck that I keep the firewood on. Well, I have a friend who keeps Bees and we thought about leaving them and moving the deck or moving the bees into a box and getting some honey.

So right now, we plan to lift the deck with forks and scrape the bees out. I am working on getting my camera man over so we have this on youtube for you all to see. It could be like Duck Dynasty............. were we all run and are getting stung. I will be in the cab so I hope its sealed well!

This was by far the best ending to a great weekend. We have the video, but we will be doing a little editing and we hope to get it up in the next couple days. This was a small hive, but it was great. We had neighbors outside watching. Just very exciting.

Here are some pictures to hold you over til the video. I was in the tractor, so not great pics.

That was pretty neat. If it was me, all I'd be worrying about was how many of those really mad bees would get through my suit.
