No Spill fuel cans and Northern Tool

Looking around at new 5 gal. cans for diesel I found an interesting anomaly at Northern Tool. A 5 gallon red "No-Spill" can labeled for "gasoline" is priced at $34.99. The same can in yellow labeled "diesel" is $37.99. http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...Ntt=gas%2Bcans

"So", you say? Northern is the ONLY seller out of a dozen or more I looked at on the net that has the $3.00 differential for the diesel cans... Short supply? Selling less yellow cans? Another mysterious "marketing practice" I don't understand?

Did you notice the yellow one is a back order at least 30 days while the red one is in stock?

I would try and get one with a little handle formed into the rear as well as the one you can see on the top. It is kind of interesting how we get lead to believe the government mandates absurd pouring containers but this one seems pretty simple from the video. The video doesn't show the rear of the item and there seems to be the transparent section absent from the item the video is accessed. I see it claims 3 handles but suppose you have to ask for assistance somehow if you care about their size and location.

Would you consider what you linked to more in line with what you want than the metal one and a large funnel with a screen? I checked out the mr funnel that got discussed on here though the rational size was larger than what folks on here linked to and advertising for it is showing up in web pages rather often.

Justrite Type I Safety Fuel Can — 5-Gallon, Yellow, Model# 7150200 | Fuel Cans| Northern Tool + Equipment If it is like the one I have after removing a screen one can rotate it and pour pretty well.

I just placed an order for one, based on your recommendation. I will let you know how I like it. Gotta love the GTT store.
It's pretty pricey at 37 bucks, so it better be damn good.

When I add it to my cart, it goes in at 37.95, not 33.18 as on the GTT site. What's the trick?

Our store must be picking up a sale that's not being honored any longer.
