The page is in Spanish and very little shows up? Although the title says something about snakes?

All joking aside, I've encountered them while deer hunting. Can't say that I enjoy being near them at all. When heading back down the fire breaks and cattle trails in the dark after a day of hunting, these type snakes are something I'm constantly on the lookout for. Thank God I've never been bitten.

There's a sign at the Amarillo,Texas travel center that warns people to be aware of poisonous snakes in the area.

I used to joke with some other hunters around Lake Whitney. Would tell them that I no longer hunt there and instead hunt at Lake Aquilla, because the rattlesnakes there are much larger and more plentiful.
Anyone who has hunted there enough has encountered them.

If anyone wants to make a road trip to Texas this summer or spring, I can help point you in the general location of these cuddly creatures. Might can even tell you where to find some in Oklahoma too.

As for me, I am going to stay away from them as much as possible.
