No need to apologize. You are old and talk to non living and non human things aren't you. Leave this relic of a thread and visit the incredible "Key thread" to be with people that understand and can help you!
Thanks for the reminder as I will have to have a Corona and a shot of Tequila with dinner tonight!

Just ignore Pappa in these matters. The Think Tank has him thinking too deeply. I consider you a kindred spirit in your appreciation of the bon mot.

    Great Summertime hamburger

Here's a basic recipe for a great Summertime burger, cooked on the Weber:

    Lipton's Big Burgers

Makes : 8 servings Preparation Time10 mins; Cooking Time12 mins

    Ingredients List

    1. 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    2. 2 lbs. ground beef
    3. 1/2 cup water
    4. 8 hamburger buns with sesame seeds, toasted
    5. 1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing
    6. 8 slices American cheese
    7. 2 cups lettuce leaves, shredded
    8. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

    Directions

    1. Combine Lipton Onion Soup Mix, ground beef and water; shape into 16 thin patties.

    2. Grill or broil burgers, turning once, 12 minutes or until done. Spread buns with dressing, then top with burger, cheese, another burger, lettuce, onion and pickles.

I love burgers cooked on the grill with the added smoked flavor; I also use smoked Provolone cheese, which I add to the meat about 5 minutes before they are done. I also put the buns on the Weber a few minutes before the meat is done. Vary the recipe to your own liking, but the onion soup is the key. Also, I like my burgers thick, not thin.

    VIVE LA SANDWICH THREAD !!!!

Collide? I can combine all the DA threads together and watch y’all squirm trying to figure out that mess. Sandwich, key, GM, salad(?), and any thread created by CP.
