    Restored 1968 4020 and F145H plow

My dad, brother and I restored this 1968 4020 about 10 years ago. This is the tractor I started driving when I was about 12 years old. I picked up a F145H plow for it Father's Day weekend and tore it down to repaint it. My wife and I finished it in 7 days. I have a neighbor that sand blasted it for us so I didn't have to roll out the little red blaster. I need to get the decals for it and some new cover board and then it will be finished. Just thought I'd share.

Be still my heart. That is a beautiful combination and a very nice restoration.

Very nice, will it handle that 5 bottom?
I think that would be a bit much in our soils at the farm.

It doesn't have a problem pulling 5. That's all we pulled with our 4020s when I was growing up.

Looks great. A couple of these setups at the show in Grand Island. Yours looks every bit as good!

Good looking pair! I started on a 1010 raking hay when I was 11. I guess my aunt and uncle figured I was responsible enough to handle their bigger tractors and got bumped up to their cabbed 4020, discing field when I too was 12. They had two of those cabbed 4020's. I was typically first one up and out the door to get to the field as only one tractor had a radio and rules were first come first serve, so to speak.
