I knew a guy that owned a dealership and has one of each color brand new in a barn under covers.
    What were the colors available?
I was only 4-6 years old, so limited knowledge about them.

Spruce Blue, Patio red, Sunset orange, and April yellow.
The frame and fender deck were white.
I think the dealership got them without the hood and seats installed. Customer decided what color they wanted and they would put the seat and hood on. That's just what I heard. Its before my time.

The one I HAD to restore

For me it was the model I put about 6000 hours on as a kid, a JD 60. I found this one, it didn't look too bad but had a stuck motor. The guy I bought it from had gotten it from his boss who told him it had been a runner a few years back. Evidently a few years to him was several decades, it was REALLY stuck and every bolt and nut was rusted to the point 30 or so percent broke when I took it apart. But 2 1/5 years and a large sum of cash later it was done. Well, not quite I see in the photo I still need to attach the seat back.
But if time / money / space were no option I would like to tackle an R, as someone mentioned about the 830 they are the most awesome parade ponies.

Probably would want to do a 6030 Wheatland. One with the rounded fenders and some large tires F/R. Now whether I would have a good use for one is a different store. Lol.
