    1974 John Deere 18 push mower - $125 OBO

I have decided to sell the 1974 John Deere 18 push mower I picked up last fall. I have used it a half dozen times and have decided it is not me. Picked it up from the original owner and gave it a tune-up with new points, condenser, plug, installed a new air filter, and sharpened the blade. Replaced the original muffler with an exact replacement from another newer 18 I have. I was told it sat on a shelf in the garage since the mid-80s after he upgraded to a silver deck 14. Starts on the second or third pull and runs great. This would be a great addition to any Deere collection or simply a lightweight worker around the year. Pick up in Cedar Rapids, IA or possible meet up within 100 miles. $125 OBO

The 18 push mower was the very first mower I owned.

Good luck with the sale. If you were closer, I'd buy it.
