    Different tire sizes?

Has anyone or can you put bigger tires on for more clearance?

You owned your tractor for one week and looking to add larger tires!

    And so it starts....

Not an uncommon question with several threads on the subject. The wheel/tire size front to back is designed to work together when in 4wd.
So you would need to upsize both fronts and backs keeping the same circumference ratio, or risk driveline damage from tires spinning at different speeds when in 4wd.
If you could obtain tires/wheels with the correct ratio then the next issue becomes fender clearance, tire/loader clearance/ MMM clearance etc.

I looked at upsizing the wheels/tires on my 2305 and found the larger wheels/tires from the 2025r would maintain the correct front/back ratio. However the larger wheels were drilled for more lugnuts than the 2305 had. Finding larger tires to fit on my existing wheels and keeping the ratio was not an option- no availability.

Not to say it can't be done. In the end I simply bought a larger tractor.

Posted for general info only. Not suggesting you alter your tractor based upon my feeble minded posts. Do so at your own risk. Maintenance and mods should be performed by a JD Dealer, or refer to your owners and maintenance manuals for proper procedures.

Me and LGB make one week today lmao.

I like having my options. No need for bigger tires just yet. Not to say they can't be used.
Wasn't looking to change rims. I was just thinking of a taller tire to get another 1" or so of clearance.
