1025R/Loader/Mower/Blade Price Check - Opinions wanted!

    All:
First off, a quick thank you to all the great people on this forum -there's an impressive wealth of knowledge and a strong feeling of community here.

Secondly, I'm in the midst of getting an order on a 1025r setup together and want the resident experts to pick the quote apart. Looking to make sure I'm getting the best possible deal. Here's the run down on the equipment and labor:

    1025R tractor: $12,276.25
    H120 Loader: $3126.00
    60D MMM: $2237.00
    Frontier BB2048L Box Blade: $830.00

    iMatch Hitch: $365.20
    iMatch bushing kit: $25.20
    Hydraulic Deck Lift: $390.00
    Auto PTO coupler: $253.00

Setup: $650 - Includes Auto-PTO, hydraulic lift, etc.

So - what do the resident experts think? I feel like there might be some runway for discounts within these numbers but I have limited abilities to do pricing comparisons...hopefully you guys can help me out.

    Thanks very much in advance!

That before taxes? And I'm sure where you are located can reflect pricing.

About 2 months ago I went in to buy a tractor. So When I get home I can check my numbers on my quotes. I ended up walking away with the show room 2016 1025 tlb.

But, Before that I want to say I got quoted 2017 1025r with h120 loader and same box blade as you was 16,000. Out the door, taxes and all. Without trying to bargain

Want to say it was $10,000 for the 1023 and 11-11500 for the 1025 and 650 for the box blade. Possibly 3100 for the loader.
Are they still doing $500 off for two implements?

    1.This is all pre-tax.
    2. Location is WA state
    3. According to the Deere website, they are doing the $500 discount w/ the purchase of two implements.

I just bought mine from Clark County in Vancouver and those prices seem high. For the same tractor, same loader, same mower w/ auto PTO connect totaled, I was about $1000 or so less than when I add your totals up. Also, I didn't pay a setup charge. Put it this way, I was $16,900 out the door for 1025r, 60MMM with Auto Connect and H120 loader with 53" bucket. Pay attention to the bucket too. There are two different sizes. Good Luck. Oh, JD was my salesrep if you're close to southern Washington.

I believe the first question when pricing anything is, do you like the dealer. Price is one thing to consider, product support is the next thing you need after the sale.
That said, I noticed you are planning on an FEL but no ballast box listed. You are going to want a ballast box if you are going to use an FEL. Either the JD ballast box of get a Heavy Hitch weight bar and load it down with 40 lb. suitcase weight. Of course, the Heavy Hitch and 12 - 40 lb. suitcase weights are going to be quite a bit more expensive than the JD ballast box, although, the Heavy Hitch and suitcase weights are much nicer.

JD recommends that the rear tires are filled and 601 lb. hanging on the three point when using the FEL.
    JD 1025 TLB (2013) ** 60D 7 Iron MMM w/auto-connect ** H120 FEL** 260 BH ** 54" snowblower ** 54" blade ** 52" Front Broom ** Ken's Bolt on Hooks ** Frontier BB2048L box scraper ** County Line 5' landscape rake ** JD Hydraulic Dump MCS ** Artillian Forks w/36" Forks ** JD 3 - Point Ballast Box ** JD I-Match Quick Hitch ** Heavy Hitch front Weight Bar ** Heavy Hitch 3 Point Weight Bar ** Fimco 40 Gallon Sprayer ** EA Aerator ** FitRite Hydraulics Rear SCV ** 12 - 40# suitcase weights

That's what my gut was telling me - they're about a grand overpriced on the package and the setup fee is a bit steep. Need to get the negotiating game fired up.

Additionally, great catch on the bucket - they had the 49" bucket in the quote. Will have to get that amended as well.

    Thanks much for the response.

Not sure where you're located but I got quotes from Pape' Machinery and Clark County plus another smaller one. Clark Co was the farthest away but were the easiest to deal with. Any of them can do the warranty work down the road so if my experience with these guys changes, I can always start using the closer dealers for warranty and service.

Email [email protected] JD Dirksen and if nothing else, use his quote to get your current dealer to drop the price.

I'm in Bothell, WA. The closest dealer is in Snohomish.

Make sure you are getting the bucket with the quick tach as well. Some members have gotten the H120 loader and a pin on bucket.
