Broken adjustment bolt on auto-connect MMM?

Bought my used 1023E a couple weeks ago. We had a dickens of a time connecting the mower, which has auto-connect. I had to reach underneath and hold the receiving bearing to keep it from flopping around. As I looked around this forum it appears that there is an adjustment bolt that keeps that bearing/spline in alignment. I assume my JD dealer would have that? See picture. I think the head of the bolt should rest against the cross shaft to the rear of the bearing. Right?

Perfect! I'll head to the JD dealer today, or maybe just call him. He'll probably have to order the part I'm guessing. Huge thanks! I ordered the kit to add the separate hydraulic circuit for the independent mower lift, so I can replace the broken bolt while I have the tractor apart.

It looks to me like the long part of the bolt was on the wrong side of the bearing.

I'll take a look at that when I replace the bolt. It looks like there is dirt/grease on the bearing seal, and I'm hoping that it is just some of that knocked/scraped off. Will be doing some work on it when I install the independent lift solenoid kit.

This is my uneducated opinion, but to me it looks like someone shortened the bolt by cutting it off at the end. Maybe not knowing what it was for or thinking it was too long (previous owner?). You can see that at one time it was the correct size by looking at the rusty rub marks to the right, where it was supposed to be resting against that metal piece.
