    Just got a 2018 1025r have a few question

The dealer dropped off my tractor yesterday, the delivery guy wasn't very knowledgeable about the tractor so the few questions I did have weren't answered. So I was hoping before I contact the dealership I could get some info on here.

The Mower deck height adjustment knob doesn't appear to have a "lock" position. I know previous models had a different knob and had a lock. Just wondering if there is no longer a lock out position?

Also is there supposed to be some kind of liner or anything in the bottom of the cup holder and other compartments or is this how its supposed to be?

    ekluge77, First off, welcome....

The holes and unfinished look to the cup holder and cubby holes is most likely for water drainage. Believe it or not, the tractors wont melt if left outside, and rain water wont hurt anything.....

As far as the cutting height adjustment knob not having a "LOCK" position.... The knob turns a stepped cam... On my tractor, from around 2014, the cam looks like this... Look at your tractor.....on the left side, under the tractor, just ahead of the rear tire... Your adjustment cam will probably look like mine. Unless there have been major changes to things this year..

There really is no lock mechanism, it's just the highest position on the cam..... and "install" is the open space between the low spot and the high spot.

    Good Luck!

Thanks, I'll take a look under there tonight and see if the cam is the same on mine.

They probably eliminated the lock position because it got little to no use. It was for traveling down the the road so the deck wouldn't flop/drop. The highest deck setting does the same thing. Nice rig.
