    2305 electrical question

    Hi everyone.

A few years ago I bought myself a used 2305 with very little hours on it (previous owner overestimated his garden ) so I got it for a very good price. Now, since I am from europe and the 2305 is imported, the lighting on the 2305 is still US spec (blinkers stay always on but go out when blinking)

Is there a way to switch this behaviour to euro style blinkers? Allways off, only go on when the blinker is active for that direction (or hazards of course)

    Hope this makes some sense?

    Thanks!

My guess is that you'll probably have to visit with a local JD Dealer to verify this but... The US flasher relay is JD part # LVU800247. That same relay is used on the 790, 2025R, 2032R, 2210, 2305, 2320,, 2520, 2720, 3005, 4005, 4010, 4110 and 4115 tractors.

It may be as simple as swapping out the relay. I'd ask them what relay is used on any of those models that are sold in Europe. If it happens to be the same relay then you'd have to find a wring diagram to find the pins on it and reverse it from a "Normally Closed" contact system to "Normally Open".
