    Uh oh!!

I've been hoping I'd never see this.
Too much investment to have this kind of damage.
The little white stuff is the foam from inside my seat!
I've been doing alot of searching and it seems putting mothballs in an old sock on the seat pan will be a decent deterrent. I've also read where keeping your hood open will deter the little pests from making a nest in the engine compartment...........hopefully.

Anyone have any other methods that work?

ps: barn cats are out of the question. We have indoor cats,so outside cats would never work if you get my drift.

I have tried baited traps and everything imaginable. Nothing started to give me results like the electronic repellents.

    Try These

I have about 4 different kinds of these repellents around and they all seem to work well.

There wasn't anything on the floor Friday,so I'm guessing it happened between then and this afternoon. I can't really tell, but there doesn't seem to be any difference in the cushion.....yet. Hopefully, the mothballs will keep them out.

Dryer sheets (e.g. Bounce) work pretty well...and don't smell so bad (like moth balls)... use them in my stored Mustangs over winter... never had a problem... stuff them in crooks and crannies under the hood, too.... should work on the tractor...

Bounce or any strong smelling dryer sheet.
I have used them in several vehicles and stored stuff.
I also use LOTS of traps baited with all manor of baits.
Word of caution...... Tie a strong string to your trap.
If a scavenger decides to dine on the contents of the trap, that is OK by me.
Just don't want them to drag off the trap where I can't find and use it again.
    Good luck
    Wyo
