    1026R ordered in UK!

Just placed the order for the new Green Machine!
Took a while to thrash out the spec, after discussion with two local dealers.
Although the final price was close within £1000 the local dealer won through due to convenience and logistics. Highly recommend Magregor Supplies in Inverness and Double A in Aberdeen/Fife

    JOHN DEERE 1026R,
TURF TYRES,54" MID MOUNT AUTO CONNECT DECK,
    3RD SCV,
    REAR HYDRAULIC OUTLETS,
    3-POINT FRONT HITCH FACTORY INSTALLED,
    LVB 26199 FRONT PTO KIT,
    BLV10166 2000RPM PTO KIT,
    H120 LOADER C/W 53" BUCKET,
REAR 580L COLLECTOR, CHUTE, PARKING STAND, FILL INDICATOR.
    ROAD LEGAL KIT.

The 47" JD snow blower apparently is not available in the UK, but I have managed to source a second had one for a 755 (Luckily that's the spare beast!)
The plan would be to adapt the snow blower so that it can be used on both machines?....well that's the plan!

Just got to break the news to the wife, and wait 6 weeks for delivery, so plenty of time to recover from the bruises and broken bones!

Well that's the latest.....photo's to follow in 6 weeks!

This totally reminds me of when I traded up to the 1025R FILB. The couch was my best friend for a few nights.

The UK is a pretty neat destination to visit. I went once, thanks to "Uncle Sams Canoe Club", on a North Atlantic cruise onboard the U.S.S. America back in the late 70's.
Unless you've been there in person, those Cliffs of Dover are nowhere near as beautiful in pictures as compared to seeing them for ones self.
Piccadilly Square, local pubs with warm ale and fish & chips, all great lifetime experiences.
