1025r 3 point hitch lever went soft

I am just checking in with others to see if the thread I followed on 1026 units with the loose nut on the lever handle would apply to the 1025r. I was using the CMP Dethatcher on my property and mid way thru the day suddenly my 3 pt hitch lever goes soft and either I can have it a full up in a lock position or it drops to full down with no friction to set it at any other level.

It sounds like the same problem to me, but before I get a chance to bring the machine into the garage to take a look at it, I thought I'd poll the audience.
