    2305 floppy throttle lever

    There are some things I probably should not share in a public forum. My throttle lever went limp this weekend.

    Looking at the parts drawing it looks like there are 3 spring washers backed by a pair of nuts. I am guessing that the outside nut is loose and allowing the inner one to slip. Or, is it possible I need to replace the spring washers? Has anyone else encountered this? I have not been back out to look and see if I can get to this without taking the knee panel off. I will try to get out there soon. Holding, that throttle up adds a huge challenge when trying to do loader work! Too few hands to do the job!

    Add viagra to diesel fuel. 1 tab per tank.....
    I have not encountered this on my 2305, will be interested in your fix

    I would tighten the nuts first. Be careful not to get them to tight as this may cause considerable pain to the tractor, even if it fixes the floppy throttle...

    I finally took the panel off and found the two nuts were loose. I tightened the inside nut and there is a decent amount of resistance. I tightened lock nut and hopefully won't be back in there for quite some time. I have to say, though, with that panel still connected to the parking brake lever, it is quite a hassle to get 2 open end wrenches in there to tighten the lock nut. As a result, I am not extremely confident that I got it tight enough.....
