Nice work. As an inventor (but not of this), I think I should tell you that the edge tamer is patented, so my advice is “don’t do this at home” as that is illegal without permission of the patent holder. They are cheap enough, so I guess I don’t see the point in making your own anyways.

I am still trying to figure out what approval had to be issued and why there was a wait.

Welcome to GTT and glad you made it through the "approval process" which I didn't know we even had one.........

Curious what plans you have for the 3pt pallet forks. This is something which gets mentioned from time to time but with the Limited lift height on category 1 3 points, I can't recall seeing many in use on smaller machines.

What are the brackets sitting on the mower spindle?

    The fab work looks great.!

Well, no. Here is the actual law:

Except as otherwise provided in this title [35 USCS Sects. 1 et seq.], whoever without authority makes, uses or sells any patented invention, within the United States during the term of the patent therefor, infringes the patent.

"makes, uses" has no exclusion for personal use.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it, I was just pointing out the law. Generally, only the inventor can enforce his patent and it is a civil matter, that is, there aren't any "patent police" (as opposed to, for example, the Mattress Police).

Yeah, that’s what I was saying also. I doubt a company is going to drop thousands and thousands of dollars to go after one of us loonies for making a set of shoes that look like theirs. Put up a website, phone number, and a “Call Us Now!!!, that’s a different story. If I had the skill, I would fabricate anything I could and never worry a bit about Patent Pending.

Right, just don't post pictures of it on a website sponsored by the company owning the patent!

The “approval process” to becoming a new member is simply replying to an email to verify your email account. Pretty easy. It’s usually instantaneous. Some people don’t get their email all that quick, or it goes to the junk folder, or, my personal favorite, they use a bum or incorrect email address when filling out the registration.

1st i ment no harm and guess i did not know the laws. No excuse I admit.
2nd i have no use at all that I can think of at this time for the forks. Just get pleasure out of making stuff.
The brackets fit The bolt holes on the top of the fel. Sandwich the bucket between them and slide up to a 1/2 bolt thru them to hold a chain, rope, strap or whatever.
