    Canopy for a 2025R

Hey all, first post. Great to be here.
Purchasing a 2025R and live in Fl so looking for a canopy.
Dealer suggests a Perry Guardian w/fan over the Deere canopy.
What do you suggest for a canopy. More questions to follow. Thanks

I know nothing about them but here is a link to some made by Westendorf. Welcome to the forum, by the way.

I looked for westendorf when I was purchasing canopies 2 years ago, and couldn't find a dealer for them.

I went with a Femco Tufftop, very pleased with them. Built in Kansas, priced good at $273 shipped on ebay, and easily removable with 4 bolts.

They have been pretty tough, I have bumped into quite few tree tops while mowing, and while it can be bent, it is a pretty durable canopy.

Get the bigger one, it is perfect for a 1025r or a 3032E, and they have GREEN for a color. You could also buy extra mounting brackets, and use the same top on your zero turn mower.

I have the yellow canvas sun umbrella. I like it; it works well. It doesn't cover all, but I was surprised at how much even a little shade helps. I was kind of puzzled at first on how it all went together but I got it figured out. The canvas is very strong. I have some leaf/berry stains on it but I haven't ripped it yet. I also like how I can leave it attached to the ROPS and just fold the ROPS down (ahem, yes, down is the correct configuration for entering a standard garage...) and the umbrella just adds a tiny bit of height and width to the tractor footprint. The entire frame is also removable for wet weather or storage; reattaches in maybe 5 minutes.

Did a search and this is the newest canopy thread. I have a 19’ 1025R and am looking into a canopy, but like most, I don’t have that much real estate above my ROPS to fit my tractor into my garage. Maybe 3-4”.
