Wink For 1025 JD tractor Breather fix

    1st post, please be kind.

There is a simple, cheap and quick fix for the breather brackets breaking. Let me explain...
I think we sometimes over think a simple problem and spend too much worry and money over it. The breather issue is
simply a poor design. 1st...all rubber hoses obsorb some vibrations, 2nd... the breather is not heavy, 3rd... I'm an old redneck country boy (fix it to work and be CHEAP as possible).
1 small bungee, 1 hose clamp, remove the offending part.

    1. Remove bracket
    2. Get a small bungee cord and a radiator hose clamp (harbor freight).
    3. Clamp air intake hose to bulkhead.
    4. Hang end of breather to bulkhead with bungee cord.
    5. 30 minutes, quit worrying and get some sleep.

My fix has over 72 hours run time and is doing just fine.

    Please see pics.

...Can't say I fault the fix; kinda thought about something like that myself. At 72 hours it's working as intended!
