Thumbs up Added a Step to the 2305

I found that a 20"+ high platform is just to high for me to comfortably mount my 2305 tractor. In doing so, I use the steering wheel to aid my lift. It of course is no problem with the 62 inch mmm deck mounted, but is a BIG step when not. Here is my solution to the problem and looking to reduce the stress on my steering wheel and column. Oh, and just a couple of pull pins and it is easily removed.

I sure like it Randy. I'm surprised Deere didn't put a step on the 2305 from the get-go.

That is exactly what I was thinking!! I watched my father in law struggle to mount mine and was thinking there needs to be a step on there.

    Nice project!

Wow Randy! That looks terrific. I had better not let Mrs. CP see that because she too uses the MMM, but needs that little bit of extra Oooomph when the deck is off. Luckily her complaints haven't gotten loud enough.....yet!

Randy, do you use the 2305? Looks spotless. I don't think our 2320 ever looked that clean.

    Randy,
Since the 2520 is even higher, will you be making a step for it?

Great design, welding and paint work.

Is the mounting frame using existing holes/bolts? I like the quick attach/release aspect of the step.
