    1026R top speed.

Just for fun, I grabbed my portable GPS to check the top speed of my new tractor. With a full tank of fuel and w/o attatchments installed on a flat surface...I achieved 10.1 mph in high range. I thought I would post this for all the "SPEED JUNKIES" out there who own a new 1 series!

You have to list an RPM like the marine and pwc guys do.

Was it wind assisted? Got to note it for establishing records.

You are doing better than me. I think my 2305 is good for 9.5 max unless I get a little downhill going. Up a decent hill it still maintains 8.5.

I didn't pay much attention to the RPM's, but it was @ full throttle. I'll check it again and post the RPM's.

My 3120 had a speedometer on it, I got it up too 15MPH on a paved road, and even at that point it feels fast. My 5410's specs say it goes 24 in high gear, nothing to prove for it, though. The 110 is a slug! I think it's just the weight of the backhoe, but I'd guess it's speed is a lot closer to 10MPH, maybe 15 after it 'accelerates', but I haven't taken it long distances in high gear to know. For the size of the tractor, I'd say 10MPH is pretty good!
