    A prime candidate for JB weld, I say. Also not nearly as bad as I was envisioning though it could be the camera angle.

    rough it up!!

    After getting the area clean of oil be sure to rough it up with say 60 grit paper to give the JB weld something to hold on to!!

    Thanks to all the input and JB Weld is my new best friend

    After repair on Saturday ran the JD under a light load for an hour on Sunday and all is tight.
