    Parking Brake Issue

I have been having a little parking break issue, and yesterday I diagnosis the problem.

It seems the entire break linkage has a little left to right play in it, and if slides to the left the little peg (circled on #9) connected to the parking break does not catch the arm that is on the rod connected to the foot break (Circled on #24). Should it have that much play? If I take my foot and kick\nudge the break pedal sideways towards the tractor then it catches fine.

P.S. I'm not sure I like the change to jdparts.com

Does everyone also have this lateral movement in the break pedal and linkage?

I'm not sure what model you have but I have no discernible lateral movement in my brake linkage.
