    1026r, 1025r

can anyone tell me what the differance is between a 1026R and a 1025R are? I just bought a 2012 1026R and went to look it up on the John Deere home page and all I can find is the 1025R.

I do believe the 1025R replaced the 1026R. Maybe a little less HP on the 1025R but not sure.

Green fuel cap, bigger red lights on the ROPs, different tier 4 emissions compliant engine with slightly less power than the 1026R. That's about it.

And.... just maybe.... It was a slick tactic to get me to pull the trigger on the 1026r before they were all gone and I'd have had to settle for a "lesser powered" 1025r. If that was the case, it worked. "More" is always better!
