    1025 with iMatch Hitch

I have a question about the iMatch hitch on my new 1025R. The adjustable upper hook came set by the dealer and the manual says this is the "standard" placement for the upper hook. I have some attachments from my previous tractor (brush cutter and receiver hitch) that are going to require some modification to match up with the iMatch. My question is, will a Frontier attachment (box blade) or JD ballast box correctly connect to the iMatch with the upper hook located, as delivered. Before I do the modifications to my other attachments, I want to make sure all of them will hook up without having to move the upper hook on the iMatch. Having to move the upper hook for different attachments would seem to offset any convenience gained from having the iMatch hitch.

Replacing the bolts for the top hook with pins makes the adjustment easy.

The ballast box and Frontier landscape rake and Frontier rear blade all attached to the iMatch with the hook in the standard position. As did two different Land Pride rear blades and a 3PH trailer towing adapter. The bottom line is that most all Quick Hitch compatible implements will work with the hook in the standard position.

Not really. Having the lower link arms captured and utilizing the lower hooks of the IMatch and bushings installed on your implements sure beats fighting that battle every time you hook them up.

I don't have any JD attachments but have my upper hook holes labeled (ID'd after trial and error) so when I switch attachments, I'm hook and go.

Thanks for the information on the attachments. I modified my brush cutter to work with the iMatch in the standard location.

Question: What are the 3 vertical holes in the horizontal portion of the iMatch, right next to the upper ling attachment point?

If that is directed at me, I'm sorry but I don't understand the question.

Yes, in the picture you posted you can see two of the 3 vertical holes that go through the horizontal portion of the iMatch, the third hole is on the opposite side. I noticed the same holes in mine and have no idea what they could be for. Just curious.

I believe those holes are for the optional auto hitch feature to couple the pto for certain model JD tillers, similar to the mower auto-connect feature.
