    Had Two Chainsaw Chains Sharpened

I had two chainsaw chains sharpened yesterday at an Authorized Stihl Dealership. Got home, went to put one on my saw, went back and got my money back.
I had to actually fight with the guy. He said the teeth looked good...
Babycakes did make me feel better.........She said I should have checked before I left the store.
I have NEVER seen such a thing.
Anyone want to buy 2 junk chains?
    Every tooth, both chains...

Looks like he got too aggressive with the cutter wheel. The burr left behind may just peel off the first time you run the chain into some wood. Worth a shot.

Not on my saw, not with me using it. Besides that, every tooth got way too hot, IMO (the one that counts).
I thing they used the wrong grinding tool.
I have NEVER seen anything like this and I've had quite a few sharpened.

Just because you put a grinder to it doesn't mean it's sharp.

OH it's FAR from sharp. They even took down the depth gauge way too far. These were new chains, first time sharpening.

You need to get your own sharpener.

Wow, that is terrible. The guy sharpening those chains needs more training and maybe a lesson in taking pride in your work.

I'm going to send the pictures to Stihl along with the dealership name and address and I'm going to cry like a baby to them as I won't use these chains.

They should give you 2 new chains. Not just refunding the sharpening fee.

Did the same place sharpen chains for you before?
