    Rod bending tools

I have a need to bend some 1/4" dia. rod. Need 90 degree bends & some loops of varying sizes. Eastwood has a rod forming tool that can be used to fab exhaust hangers & whatever you need. It looks simple to use & the price is right. I'm also seeing something called a Mini multi bender on amazon. A higher price than Eastwood & appears to have more working parts but I'm not sure it it's worth the extra $. What I'm looking to do is to make up some 90 degree bends in cold roll steel rod & some hooks to attach to the three point hitch top link bracket that holds the top link when not in use, & maybe some other custom hardware that can't be found at the store. Yes I could fab up my own little bender, but by the time I collect the materials for that & do the work, it will cost more than the Eastwood forming tool or the mini multi bender. Anyone have any tool suggestions on this. I really don't know where to look for one. Thanks.

If 1/4" is what you're after that one is as good as any. The larger units tend not to go that small and most are geared more toward flat bar stock.

I have that exact bender,, remember,, 1/4" round is about its limit,,
If I wanted to bend anything today,, I would buy the bender from Harbor Freight,,

It would cost about double what the Eastwood one costs (with a 20% coupon) ,, but,, it will easily do 10 times the bending projects,,,
