    90 percent Amputation left hand

    My 2 cents.
I've always practiced safety throughout my many years. All it takes is a millisecond distraction to bite you. The title is true for me. It will change your life completely. My hand was replanted and many reconstruction surgeries and chronic pain for life.

Glad you're okay, I didn't read all the posts but one thing I'm sure of...most likely you won't hear much back from Hitachi and if the blade was sent to them it will not be seen again.

I have slowly been building my confidence back. Got back to hanging trim and so far, fingers crossed, and still on my hand, all has went well with the new saw. Went back to Lowe’s to see the saw, it was gone. Now everyone seems like they have amnesia. No answers, no info. Called Dewalt, no idea what I’m talking about. I wasn’t going to legally take any action, but I hate that companies have become this. Either way, I have started using the new clamps all the time. If I don’t have to hold the wood, I don’t. Much different attitude now.
