Looking for Information on 2 Die Cast Tractors

    Hello,
I am looking for any information anyone can give me on these 2 Die Cast John Deere Tractors I have come across. I believe they are 1:18 ratio, but that is all I know.

Thanks for any information you may be able to give me.

Looks like the wide front model is a D, the tricycle may be an A or a B. I know very little about models, but judging from the stamped/ crimped nuts on the rear axles I think they would be fairly modern, 1980s or newer. I could certainly be wrong about that though.

Try a Google search using "John Deer Tractor Toys" instead of "John Deere Tractor Models". They don't appear to be exact scale models, but are more toy like... Works the same way for railroad toys and scale models.

They are a lot of them on eBay. Enter John Deere diecast toy tractors and search.

    Welcome to GTT!

Like 56FordGuy said, what you have there is a (first photo) John Deere Styled Model D made by Ertl in 1:16 scale and a (second photo) John Deere Unstyled Model A made by Ertl in 1:16 scale. Both models are fairly common and have had many variations over the years. The wheel stamps/crimps seem to indicate a late 80s or early 90s production run. Later models would have painted (normally black) stamps/crimps.
