    replacement parts

My young son loves tractors and for his birthday we got him a John Deere A

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/1-16-John...&wl13=&veh=sem

He had it for a week, and then dropped it and the rear wheel broke. The plastic wheel shattered in a few places.

Does anyone know if you can get a replacement wheel? It wasn't terribly expensive, but it is a nicer metal tractor and was close to $40. Cheap plastic wheels though.

    Thanks for any help!

I believe that tractor is made by Ertl. I would try contacting them to see if they know of any parts availability.

    Contact Us | ERTL

    Their FAQ also lists this:

    Restoring Older Item
Where can I locate replacement parts for my pedal tractor, wagon, 1:16 scale farm/agriculture product, bank parts, and value guides?
Some parts for current production models are available via our website at: www.LearningCurveShop.com under the Replacement Parts tab.

So i finally got around to trying to find a replacement part and i contacted the company and they said they do not sell replacement parts.

BUT, they said they would replace the whole item for FREE! Talk about awesome customer service!
