    air / liquid valve stems

I have rear tires filled with calcium chloride and the liquid is leaking out the valve stem. Anyone have a good way to remove the top part of the valve stem? I assume that I will need to apply something to them to free them up to be removed is Areo Kroil ok to use. I know I have to lift the tire off the ground and put the valve stem at the highest point, any other suggestions?? thanks

On my 2030, the upper part of the stem turned out easily. I've seen both a hex and knurling on the upper stem half. Both parts were brass and they did not corrode to each other. There is an o-ring that seals the upper stem to the lower stem. If the core is leaking, it replaces same as a standard tire core.

Do these air/liquid valve stems take a standard valve stem core like used on all tires?

Are you sure they're tubeless? You may need the insert from a tractor tube.

Wildbranch, Use a little finger pressure to push the valve stem to one side. If you can see an outline of a hole, they have tubes. If you cannot see any signs of a hole, they're tubeless. Tubeless valve stems fit similar to a grommet...an undercut with rubber on either side of the hole in the rim. Bob

But I did find the brass nut I also needed, thanks.
