    ~3/16 in ball bearings balls

Had my mmm (56D drive over )on its hind legs cleaning the underside. I found 6 small ball bearings after I was done. My belt idler has been sounding loud as of late, and taking the tension off, it is a bit wobbly. Thinking that is where these are from. To small for the blade shaft, I'd say and they are nice and tight. Anyone else loose a idler and have the bearings fall out? I'd assume that the idler is where they came from. No where else they would come from that I can see.
Was going to order a new one cause it was noisy. That is a definately now. Cut the grass after without incident though.
    Thanks,
    Bill

Haven't lost the bearings on the idler yet (knock on wood) but the size of ball bearings you found sounds about the size that pulley would use. AM147272, my dealer is a 1 store operation and stocks it so it must be semi-popular, but it may fit other machines also.

How wobbly are we talking? Idlers can sometimes be a little more wobbly than other pulleys (usually not much though). My guess is you're on target, based on the fact that you say it sounds louder and is more wobbly. I'd probably just replace it and see

I'd replace it before I had to replace it and the belt.
