Is there a product out there to bring some of the color back to sun faded plastic parts? Like hoods, fenders, etc.

A good buffing compound and a random orbital polisher. Not the $30 "buffer/polisher" you buy at the local hardware store...a good automotive polisher...a Porter-Cable 7424XP at the minimum. I've been using Adam's Polishes on my cars for many years with excellent results, and about a year ago restored the sun-damaged plastic hood on my trusty old LS277AWS. Takes time and effort to get rid of that oxidized layer but a good polisher makes short work of that.
