JD Parts - is there a secret link to the old site?

    Hello,

I went to JD Parts and it has been made new,
and I can't find things like I used to on the former site.

So, sometimes things don't really go away on the internet,
and there is a link to the old and useful page.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately the old site is truly gone. For a while we had access to the Parts Advisor site but JD recently made it dealer-only access.

So the current site is all we have to work with.

I found my part. I was looking for the part number for the
mesh thing in front of the radiator. It's kind of worn out.

I would right click and download the diagram image,
and select the number key list, copy and paste it into a spreadsheet.
Then print it all to a pdf. It was wonderful.

I used to go to the parts counter with the diagram and number key,
and this would make a tedious encounter, much, much shorter,
    and a little bit fun.

It's too bad that we don't have an ethic that makes change back, as "important"
    as the constant change monkeys.

It should be as easy to "change things Back", as it is to change things.

    Unaccountable elites are virtually everywhere.

I bet this system is sitting somewhere unused.
I'd buy this on a CD if I could. Or download it.

    Happy 4July everyone!

    !
You can still do sort of the same thing using screen captures. Just takes a couple extra steps.

I now use the Windows "snipping tool" Not as easy as "right clicking" but you can save and print.

I whole heartily agree I like the "old JD parts" better BUT I'm getting more acquainted with the "new site". Have you overlooked the "print function" encircled in blue at the bottom of each parts page? I haven't utilized the print page because I utilize Windows snipping tool similar to what Zebrafive utilizes.

I'm not the OP but I have tried it and it works just fine. Initially Chrome blocked the print applet pop-up but once I allowed it to run I could print the illustration and parts list to the printer or create a PDF.

    YEP!

    I finally found this tonight.

"Print" on my Mac, creates a pdf, with the image and the number key,
which is exactly what I was doing manually. All you have to do is save it,
    and rename it.

This is actually a little better for what I had been doing.
    (I take it all back...)

    Thanks, Tx Jim
