i would love to go this yr. but...........next Wednesday i have a Dr's appt. to see a fella about doing some cutting on me.

my internal hemorrhoids are giving me fits it seems. i've had em for yrs. had them looked at several yrs ago. i begged that dr to cut them out back then, but he claimed the internal ones was a different breed, and if they wasn't all that bad, he wanted to let them alone. well heck, u just can't run to ER everytime they flair up. now if they didn't stop bleeding yeah-i'dl go to the ER. but usually they do clear up pretty good. but still spotting most days. only reason i called this fella this time is, for a couple of weeks they was acting up badly. so i figured it was time to get em looked at again. just not the thing u want to go to have looked at-right

Dieselshadow--are u going this yr again. really would like to go, if only for one day. down and back.

THANKS for posting this, Tim!! I was thinking about this very subject last week!!

Right now, my plan is to come down on Thursday, Feb 15. This show isn't Sweetie's cup of tea, so she won't be coming. And since she won't be coming, that means that I'd better not be gone on Valentine's Day (like I was for work last year! ). I think that Friday and Saturday will be pretty crowded, so that leaves Thursday for me.

I'd definitely like to meet up with anyone that's there, at least for lunch or a cup of coffee.

I went to the show a few years ago. It was a lot of fun, but a long, tiring day! I'll be doing it as a one day trip - and the venue is 2.5-3.0 hours each way for me.

One hint for those that haven't been there before - Bring some sort of backpack to put the "stuff" that you get from the booths in. Last time I picked up a couple of vendor shopping bags, but those get heavy lugging them around all day. A backpack is probably a lot less tiring.

Kenny - are you going to have a booth there?

    Lots of friends there

I know of two bus loads of people from Virginia who will be there plus a bunch who drive or fly. I can't go- never have gone but it's on my list. Maybe next year as I have a different work trip coming up this year that I won't take next year.

Y'all have fun, let us know what's new, different and fun.
