I ordered the LED bulbs for the Silverado day time running lights,, one was burned out,,
the one I selected had lots of positive reviews,,
To install,, you pull the old bulb out,, push in the new bulb,,,
WELL !!,,, The new bulb would not go in the socket,,,
after 20 minutes of trying, and measuring,,
I find the LED bulb is 0.007" too wide,,,
I had to file down the width of the new LED DRL bulb with a hand file,,
then the bulb went right in,,,
I am amazed there are that many good reviews,, someone besides me must have had that problem before,,
there are millions of Silverados, Tahoes, Suburbans, and GMC's that all have burned out DRL bulbs,,
Am I crazy?
OR, is this typical of what you should have to do to work on a car these days??
