Don't have a Chevy. Got Mechanic Comming (GMC)

Not sure. I wouldn't call it any better. High single digits if I were to guess. I really don't pay any attention to that and the only reason I looked is because my buddy that I borrowed the truck from asked me to clear the trip computer and check the mileage. I would call it a wash but it pulled it better in terms of power.

2017 F-150 3.5 EB SCREW. Filled up in Canton GA stopped in Shelbyville In. and had the cruise on 78. I've reset my mileage calculation and it is within .1 of manually calculated. Gotta love being able to drive for 7 1/2 hours and still have 200 miles to empty.

I switched from my 2013 with the 5.0 to the 2017 with the second gen EB and couldn't be happier. To each his own, that's the nice thing, you can pick what you want.

Well time for another comparison. I pick up a new Nissan Titan on Saturday. I won't be doing any major towing though.

My neighbor is the sales manager for a local Nissan Dealer. The town next to where I live has their big festival all weekend and my Son's Boy Scout Troop is going to have a float in the parade. We were going to pull our trailer with the Yukon but then I called my neighbor up and asked if his dealership would be willing to donate a vehicle for the float. Sure thing was his response. So Saturday I will run over to the dealer and I can use the truck until Monday. Too bad the camper is gone. My buddy that I borrowed the F150 from to set it up for our camper is currently pulling it to Oshkosh WI to get ready for the airshow. He will fly back tonight then fly out for the week of the show with his family.

Of course as a salesman he always says how great the Titan is and how it is undersold. We will see. I don't expect to like it more than the Ford but I also don't want to make a judgement before trying it. Not sure which one I will get but all their Titans are the SV Midnight Edition or a Titan XD Platinum. Too bad the XD is the gas version. It would be fun to try the Cummings though it would be overkill for the small aluminum trailer we are pulling.

Actual mileage since I have owned my ‘15 w/2.7l ecoboost. All driving is on mountain roads with all hills. This also includes winter warmups (idling). Have no idea what it would be with all flat highway miles.....

Not too bad considering the Atlanta traffic and what towing that I do.

Traffic, city driving, and idling can really mess with your mileage for sure. I almost hate to warm my truck up in the winter because of it. But as with a lot of stuff I have to watch my OCD-ness and not worry about such things.

I think these ecoboost engines are great. Even with all our hills I am amazed what my little 6 cylinder can do. It kicks butt compared to my last truck with the 5.4l.

That is why i went for a 2011 F250 when i bought my Super Duty. Better gas mileage AND more power.
