    2040 question

On a John Deere 2040, does anyone know what the bolt and 3 inch bar basically under the seat is for?

    Thanks!

I believe that is your rate of drop for the 3 point.

Thanks, it might of taken me some time to figure that out.

Are there any set positions , or do you just adjust until you get the rate of drop that you like?

R-O-D screw adjustment is normally determined by weight of implement on 3 pt hitch. Heavier load requires less, lighter load requires more.
