New 520M loader on 2018 5E 3 cylinder tractors. Is this normal

Are these tractors with loaders supposed to come factory with that new quick disconnect setup on the hydraulic line or is it an option? This is my first new tractor and first tractor with a quick attach FEL.

Here's the issue I'm having getting the FEL on and off the tractor:

As you can see one of the lines is in the way of getting the pin out and in. I have to turn the tractor on/off and relive the lines twice during the process of taking the FEL on or off. I want to call the dealer and ask them but I want to make sure that I was supposed to get the lever mechanism that connects/discounts all the lines at the same time and that it wasn't an option before I bother them. When I first looked at the tractor it didn't have the FEL and they had to look around for one since it's a new model and drive several hours to get it.

    Thanks,

    Jesse

It is my understanding that the single point hydro connector is a.) not available for all tractor/loader models and b.) an optional item for those tractor/loader combos where it is available.

The Deere site for the 520M loader mentions "The 520M, H240, 540M, H260, and H310 Loaders can be configured with a single-point hydraulic connection that also incorporates the connection point for any electrical needs."

That "can be configured" would indicate to me that it is an optional item.

    Thanks,

The plate that mounts the hoses on the tractor mounts them at an angle on this tractor. All the pictures I see of the H240 tractor has the hoses mounted straight up in the air where on this they're mounted at a 45ish degree angle from the ground. I think the older style mounting plate I've been seeing would allow the pin to clear on this tractor, but I can only assume it would fit. I do think the H240 and new 520M are very similar in most ways though.

Sorry I don’t have a better picture, but you can see that on my 5100M w H260 loader that the hoses are far away from the loader pin. Not sure why yours would be close enough to interfere with each other.

I just bought a 520M loader for a 5065E. The quick single point connection is a option for this loader. I sure you know that the pin does not come all the way out, you are suppose to pull the black knob back and slide pin back as in your picture then rotate the black knob side down into the lower notch. But the hoses are very stiff and hard to lift out of the connectors. I believe my hose connections are straight up.

Hmmmm. Mine is different than the other ones I've seen on these tractors. I thought it might be a 2018 model thing but this wouldn't make sense to do.

It would need to come out another inch or so before the loader would be able to clear the pin. Funny thing is is that most people just leave these things on. I'm one that if I'm not using the loader then I don't like it on the tractor. Lol

    Thanks for y'alls help BTW.

BTW it looks more like a 60* angle instead of a 45*. Lol

Since you pull your loader a lot, I would invest in the single point coupler, money well spent.
