    lift on 6300 wont work

    hey guys,

The lift on my 6300 wont work. I have unhooked the stepper motor and tried to make it work with the screw on top with no luck. It will act like it is trying to raise up but it is already at the top. the stepper motor is hot to the touch. I checked the fuse and it is good. I tried pushing down on the arms with my skid steer incase it was stuck... nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

    Charles

Is it not going up, or not going down? If its not going down, is the rate of drop valve closed?

So this just happened. I went out and double checked the rate of drop valve. it wasn't all the way down. I turned it down and it still wouldn't work. I unhooked the stepper motor and re ran the test. Now it works when I use the screwdriver but when I hook everything back up, it still doesn't work. I assume that means I need a new stepper motor? thank you
