5105 hard to start after changing fuel injection pump

I just changed fuel injection pump on my 5105. Got tractor started up and running, now it is hard to start. Tractor starts and will stay running as long as starter is turning. After 5 or 6 attempts it will finally keep running. Seems to be running good was started and has good power. Any suggestions on what might be causing hard start, timing off??

I think a timing problem could be very likely. I changed the pump in my JD dozer and it took me a while to get it just right. A small change in timing made a big difference on how it ran. The other consideration is you are getting air in the system via a loose fitting somewhere.
