    5065E Fuel tank leak

I have fuel leaking from the top line. Does anyone know what that line is for? what would make that start leaking?

I cleaned all around the area, took out the debris and found out the line is split on the back side where it bends. I think im going to splice in a new hose with it. Still wondering if this is a vacuum line or not?

The hose is the return fuel line. If its the same as my 2014 it is 1/4 hose. I bought a 25ft roll of barricade off amazon for 23.00

Is this an OOS or cab model? Oddly, none of the tanks I can find in the parts list shows this second upper hose connection.

I also bought a 25' spool of 1/4" Gates barricade fuel to replace all the fuel lines on my JD 6415, they were starting to weep.
It turned out the one (easy to get to) line I checked was 1/4". A 7" piece .

ALL THE REST, about 20' total were 5/16" so I had to buy another 25' spool.

So LMK how much 1/4" line you need and I can send you some.

Thanks for the offer Zebrafive. I purchased some at tractor supply, that should hold me over. Whats the benefit to the barricade fuel lines?

This is a 2014, OOS and yes the line is 1/4"

When I asked what line to use more than one poster said Gates barricade, so that's what I bought, not cheap
