    Attention 322 owners .... curious

I just got my '88, 322 running on all three cylinders again after a LONG period of time trying to figure out what was wrong. During that time I spoke with numerous technicians at local John Deere dealerships and they all THOUGHT it was the ignition module after I explained the results of the troubleshooting tasks I'd performed. I emphasize "THOUGHT" because none of them had much of a history with the Yanmar engine and, that wasn't the problem.

My question to all the current and past owners of a 322 is, how many of you had to replace the ignition module and what was the hour meter reading when it went bad? Thanks in advance for your response.

You misread the post. My 322 is running fine now. I'm asking for members to post if they ever had to replace the ignition module on their Yanmar engines and if so what was the hour reading on the meter.

I am in the process of replacing mine right now, assuming you are referring to the $300 ignition module (am876024)? I'm at 2200 hours
